KALAMUNDA PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE

FAQ

Do I have to pay to park at KPAC?

Parking is free at Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre. Turn off Canning Road on to Recreation Road and you will see the entrance to the venue car park on the left.

Patrons with mobility needs can easily access the venue foyer using the ramp to the front door. Inside the venue, the theatre auditorium entrance and Rows A and B are on the same level as the foyer, as are the disabled access toilets.

The seats in Row A can be removed to allow room for wheelchairs. If you use a wheelchair please contact the Box Office directly on 08 9257 2558 at the time of booking, and we will ensure that appropriate seating accessibility is set in place to meet your needs.

Yes! KPAC encourages people of all ages to attend the theatre and we love it when children and juveniles come to events. Do check the age classification for each event though!

Juveniles under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

16 and 17-year-olds may attend without an adult but may be asked to provide official photo ID including their birthdate.

Juveniles are not allowed to approach the KPAC Bar, as per licensing regulations, but are welcomed to purchase soft drinks, water and snacks at a separate ‘safe-space’ counter.

If an event is specifically targeted to an under 18 age group, KPAC becomes an alcohol-free zone. The KPAC Kiosk will be activated with lots of soft drink and snack options.

Yes, we are happy for you to take any drinks or snacks bought at the KPAC run Bar or Kiosk into the auditorium at any of the feature shows in our programme.

The theatre auditorium is temperature controlled for the patrons’ comfort. The air-con keeps things cool in the summer and then it is cosy and warm for winter.

No, we’re not. KADS stands for Kalamunda Amateur Dramatic Society, and they can be found at a different performance venue located in the Kalamunda Central Mall.

No, we’re not part of the school; we are a separate facility owned and operated by the City of Kalamunda.

The school are however our very good neighbours, and we have an excellent relationship with them. The drama students receive their lessons on-site at KPAC and many school events, rehearsals and productions are held in our theatre.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds. However, if you are unable to attend an event, we are happy for you to give your tickets to a friend to attend in your place.

Not quite yet, sorry! We’re working on it though, so watch this space!
