The Jarrah Celts

An Enchanting Evening of Australian Celtic Music

The Theatre

Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre
48 Canning Road, Kalamunda

About the Event

This heart-felt celebration of Celtic heritage, infused with the vibrant spirit of Australia, combines outstanding musicianship with onstage theatrical actors and stunning visual projections.

The much-celebrated Jarrah Celts have already wowed KPAC audiences with dancing in the Agricultural Hall. This time they are back to take the Theatre by storm!

After their recently sold out FringeWORLD Celtic Songlines shows, The Jarrah Celts will be inviting the Roleystone Theatre Players back again to perform two theatrical skits as part of this NEW show!

Be swept away by this musical journey with sweet melodies on wooden flute, brass whistle and traditional fiddle. Add in the warm strumming of lutes and the deep resonance of an upright bass. Then tug at your heartstrings with the incredible tones of the Irish uilleann pipes.

PLUS! As part of the Celtic musical experience, there will be projected visual backdrops created by Chris Horgan.

You are going to feel and hear a timeless yet fresh sound, which invites the audience to immerse themselves full in the experience.

Celtic music has a unique ability to transport us to another time and place, capturing the essence of the past while embracing the present.

Originating from the rich heritage of 19th Century immigrants from Ireland, Scotland and Wales, Australian Celtic music has evolved over time, infused with local influences and contemporary styes. The result is a vibrant genre, that tells a story of connection, culture and celebration.
