About the Event
“All animals are equal…”
Nighttime on the Manor Farm. Cruel Farmer Jones sleeps in a drunken stupor. But the animals are not sleeping. Old Major, the prize boar, has called a secret meeting to share his vision of a world where animals work for themselves without the ruthless oversight of humans. But when this dream becomes reality, will things actually work out any better? Come and find out as the talented Rehoboth Christian College Year 11 Drama students bring George Orwell’s much loved political satire to life in this stage adaptation by Ian Wooldridge.
Audience: Recommended age 10+
This play is not recommended for viewers under ten years of age. While there is no graphic or explicit content, the themes are quite mature and there is some violence and death depicted.
