A night of Irish dance music, haunting slow airs and original music inspired by the South West of Western Australia. Robert Zielinski and Manuela Centanni will move you with their unique tone, arrangements, unison playing and harmonies.
They will be joined by French cellist Camille Lalanne, and well-known Fremantle musician John Reed on bouzouki for Kiangardarup: Dawn to Dusk. An immersive experience, where the four musicians will be accompanied by Manuela’s stunning images of the Torbay Inlet and surrounding country. Underpinning the whole performance, sounds of the bush, recorded by Robert in Torbay, will bring the listener on a journey to the Torbay Inlet.
Kiangardarup received a standing ovation at its world premiere in the Perth Concert Hall in May 2024, and it is steadily gaining world-wide recognition. The album Kiangardarup, released in November 2024, received three silver medals at the Global Music Awards.
